IHSW

I wasn't intending to take part in IHSW this month but as it was the first weekend of the Easter break, I decided to relax before concentrating on revising. This included getting some time in on Battlefront as well as stitching.

I've been itching to start one of the SAL pieces that are sitting waiting but I then sheepishly looked at my WIP pile and decided to concentrate on one of those first. My focus for the weekend has been TT Kitten 2 by HAED.

I believe the last time we saw this piece was September, 2015.
This is where I got to yesterday morning:
This is where I left off this morning:
As is the case with these types of projects, the amount of visual progress doesn't seem to match the time put into it with those confetti stitches that need to be done. However, I'm pleased that I'm getting just that little bit closer to completing this one.

It's now going to be put away and this month's Daily Cross Stitch SAL project will be coming out.

I got the Star Wars - the original trilogy back from the framers...isn't it gorgeous?!

HMS Victory and new stash

I have worked a bit more on HMS Victory, squashed stitches aside this feels like it's coming along nicely.

I had a bit of a splurge on crafty items. I got this lot from eBay...

I'm going to get the rest of the continent series from the manufacturer as one of them is hard to find here in the UK. I received my order from Thread Pickerz this morning and I absolutely love the colours :)
I also bought items from eBay, Frumble and My Fabrics to make a bag as well as a purse for myself and a drawstring bag to hold my other half's new headphones in. I may keep those fabrics a surprise until I've actually made the items ;) I'm planning on making a quilt this summer with a friend and most of the fabrics have arrived (I decided to split the order up):

My parents cleared out my maternal grandparents' house as they have moved to a smaller flat. My nana is also a cross stitcher so I managed to bag these:

There were a couple of all our yesterday's charts which don't have a cover photo as well as a couple of magazines and some aida.

Have you seen the March Loot Crate?! It sounds like it was made for me. Batman, Harley Quinn, Spock, Superman and Alien vs Predator.

Daily Cross Stitch SAL - February

Hello everyone! I'm very late with this post but I have been feeling under the weather, there are a few bugs going around at uni.

This month I decided to stitch Unstoppable.

I really like Jo's idea of turning nom nom cookie into a band for a cookie jar. That still leaves me wondering what to do with the rest of these projects maybe hangings or small pillows?

I'll be back soon with some stash updates...I should think about which chart I'll stitch this month!
