My New Year trip

I spent the end of 2015 and the start of 2016 in my favourite place, La Rochelle.

We sit on these steps every time we visit:

This is the view from those steps. I don't think I could ever tire of this!

They've added some new additions to the park we like to walk through :)

Sadly, I seemed to take the bad weather in Durham with me to La Rochelle so we only had 2 days and a morning (or two) where we could go for walks. When it is just my other half and myself going into town then we always walk as the sights along the way are lovely and relaxing. Even in bad weather, the place didn't lose its charm :)

I wasn't able to work on any of my planned projects for this year while I was away but I did manage some stitching on Travel memories.

I added some orange to the butterfly and completed the black stitching that is bottom right.
