IHSW

Not all this stitching was done this weekend but I've got a decent amount in. My plan to focus on the table runner went out the window as I got caught up in stitching the panda bookmark.

The only complaint I have with this printed on fabric system is that not all the crosses are equal. There's a larger gap between stitches on the two cherries on the bottom but if I changed it, it would throw the rest out of whack.

This has been a quick stitch. I started it around Christmas but stopped once I finished the green in the bottom left corner and just picked it up in the last week or so. I'm over half way with it now. I'm probably going to stick with this until the end now :)

I hope the rest of your week is good.

  1. Great progress! I always hated those pre-printed stitches because I always had the same issues. I eventually stopped getting them, but on the rare occasion when I had to, like for a gift for someone else, I would just stitch the project on regular material. Good luck!

    1. It is unusual to have the fabric printed on. Unless it's a gift, I may just stay clear in future. Thanks, he's a sweetie!

  4. The cherries looks fine. It's just an unusual style, but looks great from a distance. It's just that you are used to cross stitching in neat rows. It will look good when its all finished. Your progressing well on both projects. Keep up the good work.

    1. Thank you. That is true, I think I'll keep the chart and possibly trying doing it on normal evenweave but in a neat row at a later time ;)

  6. I must admit I don't see the problem with the cherries! I think they look lovely. Having not stitched something like that before, does the printing come off with water? Or is it forever hidden by the stitches?

    1. I'm glad you don't but it is glaring at me haha. I honestly don't have a clue which is why I'm following the printing just in case it doesn't come off.
